MD. Metin Yuksel Kerimoglu was born in Istanbul in 1980. After completing his primary and secondary education, he graduated from Private Üsküdar Science High School in 1998 and started his medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He graduated in 2005 and received the title of medical doctor. After working as a general practitioner in Kocaeli Gebze region between 2005 and 2009, he started his specialization in General Surgery at Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital in 2009 and completed his specialization in 2014 and received the title of Specialist Doctor. During his specialization training, he took part in many studies on bariatric surgery and performed more than a thousand operations.

After completing his compulsory service at Mardin Kızıltepe State Hospital between 2015 and 2016, he worked at Istanbul Çatalca State Hospital between 2016 and 2017, at Medicalpark Silivri Hospital between 2017 and 2018, at Birinci International Hospital between 2018 and 2019, and at Büyükçekmece Kolan Hospital between 2019 and 2021. After working at Kolan Hospital, he opened his clinic in 2022 and continues to serve his patients at the contracted hospitals.
